Thought it must have been something like that. Twas a bit of a mental one tbf. Trees down all over the place here in rural (😜) Finglas. Kudos to the ESB crews (of which some of them are my mates) getting the country re-connected over the next week!

Linux needs to be a phone, or once a manufacturer gives up support, that should allow 3rd party vendors to offer to take up the support cycle. Don’t tell me they won’t - the market for it is huge. Plenty of people would pay 100 a year rather than have to upgrade their device.
