Face it, Trump could have said “30 days notice starting now. IGs fired” and it would have been perfectly legal and made 1 month difference in a 48 month term. He didn’t because breaking the law was the point, to demonstrate that the laws don’t apply to him and daring anyone to try to stop him.

And no one knows that they’ve done it. These small hyper-locals are needed to cover town meetings. It seems UN-glamorous but such reporter can expose corruption that would otherwise go unnoticed.

hats. Most small newspapers that still exist are down to skeleton staff. After being laid off from BIT, I am now using my skills at a non-newspaper business. The consequences of news “deserts” is that no one is covering local government meetings, so local leaders can basically do whatever they want
