This was from June. I’d like to see some aerials from today, 10/18. They seem to be in short supply. While I was there, it’s difficult to get a feel for the size because you’re in the middle of it.

Stop with the fluff and provide healthcare for the people.

It is and should be fine if left alone! These are amazing to watch. You’ll know it’s close once the chrysalis turns clear and it starts to wiggle ever so slightly. Hard to believe their wings fit in there! Also, I’ve often found a second and third chrysalis not too far from one.

Definitely time lapsed. I was there, and no one was running anywhere. It was a slow stroll to the art museum. Spoke to a few cops at the end of the event, one said ‘it was a good day - no incidents’.

Just visited your website - gorgeous designs! It appears that everything in your online shop has sold … and that’s no surprise. Just watched a chickadee brood fledge in my yard in the U.S.. Wish we lived closer so I could visit your studio. Marsh bird guess: yellow warbler?

This made me smile. SO often I am asked “what’s your medium?”. My answer: “Whatever I want it to be that day.” I refuse to limit the possibilities!

Fur babies climb so deeply into our hearts. I find it interesting (and maybe a little strange) that it was easier to accept the loss of family members than my dog. A dog’s love is so unconditional. Very sorry for your loss. Holding you in the Light.

As if it’s not hard enough to be a teenager with the hate in social media. First Maine, now in CA. Praying for these kids/young adults, as well as their families.

I’m with you Lori.

Was thinking the same! NBC reported these costing $67Million for one jet. How many jobs cut does that represent while we can’t get Social Security on the phone?

This made me lol. My neighbor threw an african violet that looked dead in our compost pile. I also resurrected that little beauty and was rewarded with gorgeous blooms. Your healing skills far exceed mine with an orchid!!!

Someone elected is taking action, and standing up against this insanity. Praying for Garcia, along with other innocent inmates and also for the Senator’s safety during this mission.

In PA as well, and I’ve got a chickadee box. Third year they are nesting. Broods first two years as well! Had to get the right box. They would start nests in boxes with larger holes, and get kicked out every time. Their eggs are so tiny.

Was trying to decide between W.C. & Philly. Went to Philly, but SO glad to see an awesome turn out close to home.

Absolutely beautiful. What brand/type colored pencils are you using?

Lisa - They are GORGEOUS and now you have me wanting to get out the sumi-e inks. Minimalism is not easy, and you’ve captured the grace and movement of these birds. Just lovely.

Elaine, i'm in my first hour on BlueSky and stumbled on your lovely watercolors. Thank you for adding beauty to the world and inspiring me to pick up my brush again! I really love the loose, natural approach on these.
