Country fans are upset with Zach Bryan after he criticized ICE in a song.

But don't let it be known that Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash all despised fascism and leaned heavily to the left.

Science Friday today. Great quote.

MARY-CLAIRE KING: It really led me to believe that once your evidence is good, you really have to be very loyal to your own evidence. You really do. You have to be very, very critical of it. But once you’re convinced you’ve got it, you can’t cave.

A quick and dirty list of estimated top Labor Day march attendance from GPT-4o mini. No claim for accuracy.

I'm new here and I've not yet experienced this level of trollery.

My first post was about applying group theory to music and building structures in the Game of Life using Wolfram's Rule 22. The series show interesting patterns and symmetries.

I liked your posts.

I got to thinking about differing viewpoints. For instance, scientists just want to have the whole picture, no matter how long it takes. Engineers just want their stuff to work, ASAP. This leads, possibly inevitably, to enormous conflicts about such subjects as global warming.

Just had serious O2 situation. Reset my phone password during my delerium. Arrrgh! Took a total reset. Sucks to be old. Visited a couple of human [oid] planets. Le Guin like. Medicine was practiced in some very different ways. Less painful. Glad to be back in the blue sky world...pain and all.

I shopped this around to some liberal rags, and got one (1) automated reply. Guess they didn't have the guts to print it. I just now got the guts to post it. The photo things aren't copyrighted, they're found images (so sue me). I own this.

This ain't no Wonderland. Talk about rabbit holes. This one leads to the pit of hell. Based on a mishmash of Nordic, Native American, and Hindu mythology, and complete misunderstanding of science and history; it can only be described as cult literature.

Predictive political satire isn't everything.

Here are the family cats.

I'm a newbie here. I made this poster in 2016. The situation now is even worse than I imagined.

The Guadalupe River on a calm day.

"It's flooding down in Texas, all the telephone lines are down." Flash flood on the Guadalupe. At a girl's summer camp, 20+ missing, 13 already found dead. These storms weren't well predicted. I was watching the radar until 5 AM or so...they would pass over, and then another came out of thin air.

These Game of Life patterns were made with seeds of the intervals of Melakartas 10, 64, 26, and 23.
