Hopefully this gem makes you feel better about your photo skills: this was on our honeymoon ten thousand years ago (as you can tell from the exceptional photo quality), in Belize on an ostrich farm.

You both look infinitely more cool and collected and less fuzzy around the edges than me. 😂❤️😂

The cover of the children's book called The Day Leap Soared. Highly recommended for all #UglyDogs especially - it's a gorgeous image of Leap leaping in the forefront, sky and snow behind, Blair (the author) to the bottom left with a sled, and Grœnch and friends (6 sled dogs if all different sizes and colors) to the bottom right! Honest Dog Books made the packages so adorable I actually left them wrapped for days! They included a limited edition card signed by Bler and Leap, a bookmark, and a glow in the dark sticker of a dog! Just gorgeous packaging, as always, from Honest Dog Books. The book of wrapped in plain brown paper and folded so the signature card and bookmark could slide into a front pocket. They also included a sticker of their logo, which is white with a dog silhouette drawn in black ink with a loop of red on its chest.

Lulu appears to have recovered fully from the indignity of receiving dinner 42 minutes late last night (thanks, daylight savings time!).

Here she is in her third favorite patch of sunshine.

First favorite? Recliner, sun through skylight. Second? Front storm door.

Something about late afternoon sun shining through vivid autumn leaves just makes my heart happy, especially when it's in our own backyard.
