Looking fwd !! I just tried q.e.d for a paper in which there was quite some good old fashion enzymology and it did (to my surprise I have to admit) a super good job and came with extremely relevant comments/advice. So thx !!. It would be nice to propose a journal where the paper could fit ??

MmpL10 coiled-coil domain extends its porter domain and drives the trimer formation. This coiled-coil domain enables to form a tube like structure that may be involved in transport of glycolipids. As this extension is present in all MmpL it may be a common oligomerization/transport mechanism.

We demonstrate that the mycobacterial transporter of the trehalose polyphleate precursor named MmpL10, oligomerizes through a rather atypical way for a member of the RND pump superfamily.
