I always thought the jokes about cars being sold without turn signals were just that, a joke. But now I find out it’s true! Of course it’s a car manufactured by a company where Elon Musk is the CEO and Product Architect.

I know why Republicans/Right-Wingers want to eliminate PBS & Sesame Street.

Yummylicious caramel sauce! I finally have my recipe that works every time!!
I’ve tried many (more than a dozen) recipes that I’ve found online or in cookbooks, but they’ve never come out right or yummy.
I don’t know if it’s the altitude (Denver) or the dry air.

This is another Cicada I came across in my yard. The Cicadas I’ve seen I Colorado are very small. The ones I saw while growing up in TX and OK are much bigger - at least twice as big.

I want to share what I’ve found when I make Guac.
If you add brine liquid from pickled jalapeños, the guac won’t turn colors. I add just enough to add a little flavor. I also add a little bit of lime juice.
The brine doesn’t overpower the avocado, & keeps it from turning.
Guac is from yesterday.

A paper wasp has built a nest, or is building a nest on our patio table umbrella. I feel sorry for her because when I opened the umbrella, her nest turned wrong side up. She is the queen that will begin laying eggs & build her colony up. They are good because they feed on pests & pollinate plants.

I grew up during the years when the fear of nuclear war was real, and we had ‘duck and cover’ drills in school.
I’d much rather go back to those years and live with the daily threat of nuclear holocaust than have to live with tRump & the Repubs. They’re more dangerous.
