The reality is: our community is quickly dying. Between MAID policies that devalue our lives and the lack of COVID protocols that endanger us, I don’t know how many more friends I will lose. These networks are vital to any sense of community we can cling to + the sharing of medical knowledge. 3

It’s horrible an individual’s personal politics can cause global spaces to become unsafe. Just please remember disabled people can’t all make those value-based decisions easily out of literal need for community health safety nets. We don’t care less about harmful rhetoric when we can’t just leave. 2
