I don't know how many times I can say it, or how many ways, but the right's actions *are not caused by the left*. They want power & control. They want to destroy the left, crush its organizing mechanisms, jail its leaders, and rule without opposition. THEY DON'T NEED EXCUSES.

Update: The Professor was fired, the Dean and Department Chair who (rightfully) defended her were removed from their positions, and every course at the University is now being subjected to a state audit.

Had a consult with a graduate student the other day who INSISTED on starting search from Perplexity and it was giving nonsense. No matter how many times I demonstrated in databases that the info they wanted is not published, they could not grasp that the AI would spit out false info.

My grandpa was a Chicago firefighter and swore by the lengths they went through to make the fires accurate in Backdraft.
