Yeah, I worry about that too, truth be told. I just think he's walking a fine line, and the balance is better than most. I fear the bills, but not as much as I fear what happens if we get to complaining too much and people replace him with a conservative.

That way we can sell and tank their economy.(In conjunction with a few others *I can't remember who, at this pt it was so long ago.) It worked and it's why our tariffs are so low. He knows Carney is smart. He's scared to negotiate with him. That's saying something.

I totally agree with taxing the rich and getting rid of a lot of subsidies. But I think we have the best possible person in place. Even the resistance in the US think so. The 1st thing Carney did in ofc was buy a bunch of American bonds, and convince other countries to do the same.

We absolutely have to work with the US. We absolutely have to occasionally stroke the cheetos ego. If we don't, we're gonna end up in a real war. And we would lose.

In re: sharing data with US. That all came before him. Hell, even the videos of the kids on the school bus are stored on a server in the US. Those problems predate him by a decade. To change that, we would have to destroy climate initiatives creating our own storage, and break billions in contracts.

Damn typos.
Canada.
War.
U get it
September 21, 2025 at 8:53 PM
If we (canada)had all the money in the world right now... it would still take a decade to arm ourselves enough for a war with the US. We don't so dbl that.

He is trying to keep the peace, and know the enemies long game, and make us stronger.
If even a civil was stateside breaks out. We're fucked.

Canada isnt sending weapons to Israel. The US is. There was a private group that was caught getting around the arms embargo. We stopped it.
I too, hate the cuts, but feel like we need military spending right now.
And nobody in the west will say Genocide because Israel has the most arms.

Oh I ask. But all I get back are regurgitated American conspiracy theories.
September 21, 2025 at 8:05 PM
If war is clearly coming to your next-door neighbor, you don't think it's a good idea to increase military spending? Really? I'm still trying to figure out this logic and how recognizing Palestine could possibly be a bad thing.

I think you're reaching with most of these examples, but I'll be watching too.
September 21, 2025 at 7:16 PM
How? Please explain.

Know thy enemy.
September 21, 2025 at 6:55 PM
Well, where are your examples? I haven't seen most of the things in this list happening here yet.
September 21, 2025 at 6:49 PM
Except in the case of allergies, I agree 💯

The percentage of allergic kids WAS low enough to keep measles away with herd immunity. Now, unfortunately, that no longer exists, and the kids who can't get the vaccine are often the ones who die because of other parents' neglectful actions.
Truly blows.
