Yes, initially I thought it could work for preventing the leaf prop from falling in. Which it does, but you have to watch it everyday for root growth. The problem is if the roots grow through the funnel it's hard to get them back out. So it works as long as the stem doesn't go through the funnel.

I grow African violets and philodendrons in semi hydro. So not completely submerged in water but a wick keeps the roots moist. Add a small amount of fertilizer when watering.

Never suffer from root rot again

I didn't tape movies, but when I was in high school my mom wouldn't let me watch TV during the week. So I taped all my TV show episodes that week and watched it all on Saturday. Then she complained all I did on the weekend was watch TV 🤷🏻‍♀️. I just wanted to watch Buffy and Angel and the other WB shows
