Yep. And the US stock market is severely underperforming the rest of the world.

Even back when I liked Tesla, I would have NEVER bought Tesla stock. It is the most overpriced stock in the history of the market. The P/E ratio of that stock is so unfathomably high, they would need a Demolition Man "All restaurants are Taco Bell" level of market dominance to justify that price.

The others, hopefully yes, but not Trump. There is no way his heart and dementia-addled brain hold up until his term is over. He'll be gone long before the trials of his co-conspirators get underway.

Won't be as much of a problem with such an abundance of cheap, renewable electricity. It sure is a good thing our current government is investing so heavily in providing all of that renewable energy. /s

It's a waste of effort appealing to an ice agent's humanity. They have none. No one with any humanity could possibly do what they do.

Yep. I first noticed that when he got COVID during the first term and he put out those proof of life pictures from inside the hospital. I wondered why he looked so weird and old. Then I realized it was because he didn't have his heavy orange makeup on.

He said "reduces" not "eliminates."

What blew my mind was the audio summary feature. I fed it the entire collection of VtM 20th Anniversary Edition rulebooks and asked it for a summary of the setting, and it created a podcast with two hosts talking about it all that you can interrupt with questions, and it was accurate. 🤯

Very true, but Inception did inspire a pretty good South Park episode making fun of it. So, at least it has that going for it. 😉

I started it, but didn't like the feel of it and quit playing early on. It's definitely a niche market game.

If you want a better use of your time, play Dispatch. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's a short game, but it is absolutely fantastic.

Don't get your hopes up. Unless the crimes happened in a state with a friendly AG, there's no one to charge him. He's not going to charge himself. Plus there would be difficulties in charging a sitting president. It's not gonna happen before '29. Hopefully, he'll keel over first.

Yep. To make it interesting, you'd have to shrink the field and the goals way down, pull most of the players off the pitch, and play the game on ice to speed things up.

Basically, you'd have to make it hockey.

The response that initially came to my mind was, "Answer the question, pedo."

I won't accept that excuse from anyone. Remember those signs that everyone was holding up at the Republican convention?

"Mass Deportation Now!"

This is what mass deportation looks like. They all knew damn well what they were voting for.

So sorry for your loss. The pain never goes away, but it does get easier to bear over time. Then, at some point the happy memories you have will become stronger than the pain you carry.

Actually, this is 100% consistent with (American) Christianity, particularly Evangelicalism. This IS who they are. You can't shock them with videos like this because this IS what they want. They'll just cheer on the gestapo, because they don't believe these victims are actually people.

I fucking love that movie. It's been too long since I've last seen it.

Yeah. They're saying that the pacemaker they put in after his stroke likely saved his life in the incident this week. He was saved by modern medicine and good health care, yet he voted to strip that very same care from millions of Americans.

Fuck him. We'd all be better off if he had died.

It's always cool when they can surprise you like that. I remember playing Midnight Suns and having no idea that 2 of my favorite VAs, Jennifer Hale and @courtenaytaylor.bsky.social, were in it until I saw them in the credits at the end. They were so good that I never recognized them.

A terrible idea, just like pretty much everything Clinton did after losing Congress in the '94 midterms.
