Nov. 2-8 is Drowsy Driving Awareness Week. According to the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, drowsy driving causes thousands of crashes each year, killing an estimated 6,400 people in the U.S. alone. Drowsy driving is preventable. Get the sleep you need to be alert and refreshed when you drive.

This fall, Bear Lake HS, Heritage HS and the Bay City Boys & Girls Club rolled up their sleeves and turned snowplow blades into moving artwork for the 2026 Paint the Plow Program.
