SD 91 recently had the privilege of learning with @jenkelly-literacy.bsky.social in primary classrooms! Bookmaking, author decisions, & holding brave spaces for creative writing filled 2 days. T’s also gathered to joyfully learn with her on our pro-d day!

Grateful that the presenters emphasized the importance of not simply teaching discrete skills in isolation…no transfer! Context, great literature, poetry, close study of language in context!!

Nerding out! Getting to zoom in on some of the building blocks of early literacy development & intervention, refine my knowledge through research highlights, learn about new resources & add to my strategy toolkit.
