A Russian airstrike on Kyiv killed five-year-old Nikol and her father, while her mother was hospitalized.

Just last week, Nikol was in a kindergarten play.

The family had fled Zaporizhzhia Oblast as Russian forces advanced. Their hometown, Orikhiv, now faces daily shelling.
