Yes NL could be money but do we really spend that much more per annum per patient? I think Germany spends more, UK considerably less? Maybe it’s the right level of organization. National level IT is hard, German hospitals seem smaller more (ahem) bespoke, so perhaps a little small for scale adv?

Thinking more about it, guided synthetic data pipeline design, where roll can easily spin up their own, augmented with the general one you all just released would be a real coup..

It's country level multi lingualism as an exposure (😂🫥🤣) so technically just paying netflix to flip form dubbing to subtitles in germany for a decade should do the trick...

Yeah the advantage is obvious, my uni has a deal where we can get 1.5k hours on 4xh200 nodes (I mean if we have a plan…), these are the kinds of efficiency gains that would put experimentation with custom LLMs within reach..

This is very cool... Is SYNTH just mid-trainigng eating pre-raining? have you tried the effect ofhow well SYNTH works when layered on top of a base model training against a "classical" text based corpus?

We (NL) had the interest only mortgages (my first mortgage was one of those). They were super cheap, but when the market sunk in 2009-2014 lots of ppl were in trouble, couldn’t re-finance etc… we still have very dumb demand incentivizing measures in place (100% interest deduction 😭)
