I totally agree - it’s just a load of fluff and people trying to sell themselves. At least on here we can show our true selves per se. We can talk about academia and research as well as say we had a bad day and my cat is also being an asshole 😀

I seem to find a good amount of academics on here - and it’s far more interesting than LinkedIn - which also does my head in 😀

It is clear that they neither understand history nor have they studied it.
