It’s the economy, stupid. We have enjoyed pretty low unemployment rates for a very long time. Perhaps it will be a tough job market that will create the biggest shift in attitudes. If all this breaking doesn’t turn into building or money in pockets, we’re going to see a very disappointed electorate
