My method of toe up sock knitting. Cast on 6 sts into a loop,use LLI to increase in a spiral until 66 sts. I put in waste yarn on half the sts, to work "Afterthought" heel. I make the leg about the same length as the foot, and the socks are approx 50g each.
In progress socks of brown MC and navy CC against a green background. One sock only needs the heel to be worked. The second sock has only the toe complete

It is intended for women. Yarn is sock/fingering.
It's worked seamlessly, bottom up, and with optional pockets.
