The right wing press were horrendous to Tony Benn.He was never allowed to finish a sentence if he was on the telly.He was so calm and sensible.Centrists in Labour thoroughly disliked him.I thought he was brilliant.I am amazed they quote him,he was a true lefty signpost,may he rest in power.

I have one little boy in my head who represents all Gazan babies and children. He was a 2 year old called Hassan who was in hospital with malnutrition and couldn't move his legs.ITV news voice over said he died hours after their video was taken.He had long lashes and wavy dark hair.He had family.

I buy a poppy in November,and bought one when my sons were small.I told them what my dad(who was a boy in world war 2) told me.The first world war was called "the war to end all wars".The poppy was a symbol of the horrors those young boys saw in France's battlefields.The poppy means Never Forget.

We had austerity for 14 years.People have died because of it.We are on the bare bones with public money.More needs to go into the state,not be taken out.Enough already.Tax the rich .

Reform don't need more limelight,they need more scrutiny.James O'Brien did a good job on LBC when he interviewed Farage.We need more interviews that are honest like that from mainstream outputs.

As someone who has been a leftist all my life,I totally condemn what happened to Charlie Kirk.He was only 31 years old,he had a young family.No one deserves what he went through.My heart goes out to his family.I believe every life is sacred.Every life.And I think most left wing people agree.

Can't we do DNA tests on any bigots we find and send them back to Angeln,Juttes and Saxony where they are originally from?Near Germany I believe.Then we would have room in Britain for all refugees who need a home,and welcome them all to Britain,whatever colour or creed.

I reluctantly gave my vote to Labour last election.Have voted for them for the last 40 years.Always been a leftie,to me that means every person matters.Would help everyone in this world if I could.Won't be voting for them again unless radical turn to the left.You are so correct,Owen.
