How much trouble are we in if things pop off in Taiwan?

I've done a lot of things in life. I'm an expert in my field. I get paid really good cash money by people to build programs. Yet nothing will ever top the A+ I got in a class on Ulysses when I was a 21 year old English major.
And my copy with all my notes is in basically a shrine on my bookcase.

I'm not sure what this is in reference to, but the problem with our current events is that I can think of at least a dozen - maybe even several dozen - situations to which this could apply.

Fixing sidewalks should be a responsibility of the city, not the homeowner. Likely very niche and specific to Atlanta. But for real, our sidewalks are a mess and little old ladies can't be using all their money on sidewalks.
