Mom to three generations of kids (younger Millenial, younger GenZ, older Gen Alpha), two dogs, and a cat. Married to a Brit. Living in Indiana. Passionate about people, social justice, genuine faith, country roads, and reading great books by a warm fire.
For awhile now my team and I have come to the conclusion that I have the Mike Wozowski (Monsters Inc.) photo curse. I think this picture taken at the Martinsville, IN No Kings event is my pinnacle Mike Wozowski moment. Look for the sunflower. That is me. 🌻🤣

At our No Kings protest in Martinsville, IN, we had a lobster and a woman whose red, white, and blue inspired outfit sported a red lobster. They became fast friends. This is what can happen when you exercise your right to free speech. No Kings Since 1776!

What dystopian hellscape have we jumped to when we celebrate a billionaire's birthday while a greater population than the entire state of Indiana is under threat and destruction by fire as climate change deniers come out of the woodwork, most likely because they no longer believe in education? 1/2

I’m reading from NY Times that Matt Gaetz has withdrawn from AG consideration. After resigning his position from Congress (which effectively silenced the sexual misconduct report), I predict he will go into hiding for a year and reemerge ready to engage with a "clean slate". Watch this space.

My mom found this quote from George Santayana, who influenced Chuck Jones, creator of Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons.

On the description of Fanaticism: “Redoubling your effort after you’ve forgotten your aim.”
