April was super busy IRL and I didn’t read as much as I hoped. Blood Orange as a re-read, this time in audio, was so good.

Got in some good non-fiction too!

March was a light reading month but a really good one!

What was everyone’s favorite March reads? Have you read any of these?

When Women Were Dragons is a fiery reminder that sometimes the only way to take up space is to transform and burn brighter.

This is fun and relevant with just the right amount of escapism.

In February I read some meaningful, important and some fun books.

Did you like any of these? What others would you recommend?

This book is off to a good start. A poignant epigraph and then chapter one starts with this gem

“She didn’t think things could get any worse, then she saw the sign. Welcome to Florida, it read. The Sunshine State.”

This Will Be Fun 📚
4.5⭐️

Cozy fantasy can sometimes be hard for me to get into but this book engaged me from the start. It was funny and light while still finding meaning and moving the story. I really liked this one.

This was a quick 5⭐️ read 📚💙 that is relevant to everyone. The audiobook is under 2 hours.

When exactly was the “again” in the president’s slogan “Make America great again”? Hint: It is the same “again” that we find in “Never again.”

Experiment In Terror
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This series was a roller coaster for me. The horror was always really solid but the character behavior didn’t always click. It ended strongly and I felt satisfied with the ending. If you like Supernatural but wished it had romance, this is for you.

Really solid reading month for me. #onyxstorm was worth the wait and I really enjoyed my reread. #metalslinger was fantastic. Almost done with the Experiment in Terror series too

What was your favorite read this month?

If you aren’t ready for Onyx Storm and need a good series to start, let me go ahead and recommend this gem. *warning* it is the first in an unfinished series, and you’ll want more! #metalslinger #booksky💙📚
