We have a robin's nest in an old bird feeder (too close to the house for the birds to want to eat there, but these Robins must be brave!)
I reached my phone out of the window yesterday while Mama bird was away and look, one of the eggs hatched!

Seriously though, that moon last night was so big and beautiful just as she was rising over the trees and just as she was entering Leo, and my phone couldn’t do it justice at all 😤

I got a new tarot deck and I’m obsessed.
It’s called Tarot Landscapes by Francesca Matteoni, and the art is by Yoshi Mari.
There are no people, but lots of animals ❤️

Some of my favorite cards after the first flip-through:
9 tarot cards face up in a 3x3 grid. Top row, left to right, shows the 10 of Swords which has feathers falling down in a dark greenhouse illuminated by a shaft of light from a window to the right. Then the Queen of swords shows a snowy owl perched on a mountain, and next to this is the 3 of Wands which shows a fire in a a clearing at night and the smoke is making the shapes of a rabbit, a bird, and maybe a rat. The middle row has the fool card with a wolf on a cliff looking up at a rainbow, and next to this is the chariot card which shows a bird of prey, possibly a hawk, soaring between two rows of trees with orange red autumn leaves. Then next to this is the hermit card which shows a wolf or coyote on top of tall narrow mountain peak with some kind of cave behind and the sun is setting. In the bottom row on the left is the wheel of fortune card which shows a spiral galaxy of blue and red, and then next to this is the star card which shows a shooting star through a starry sky with a lightning bug resting on a leaf in the foreground. Then bottom right card shows a buck looking up at northern lights and a starry shape of a wolf forming above and looking down at him.

18/20 Runes for Beginners by Lisa Chamberlain
I love reading runes and this book was my first introduction to them. It covers all the basics, isn’t overwhelming or too wordy, and is a great first book on the subject.

17/20 No Excuses Art Journaling by Gina Rossi Armfield
My first intro to art journaling, and though my style is very different I don’t know where I would be without my art journal grimoires.
Red book over illustrated to look like it is a full notebook with pages on the right side of the cover including tabs for the different months. The title is in yellow letters at the top saying “no excuses art journaling” then the subtitle is underneath on a yellow square illustrated to look like a post-it note. The subtitle says “making time for creativity” and the authors name is at the bottom in yellow letters and is Gina Rossi Armfield.
