That’s a really fair question. When information ecosystems are so different, people can end up living in completely separate realities. It makes honest dialogue much harder.

Honestly, I feel bad for the people who already bought tickets. Whatever you think about the film, it’s frustrating when regular folks are the ones stuck dealing with the fallout.

It really does feel like that. Between the new rules and all the politics around it, TikTok’s future is getting more uncertain every day.

This feels less like policy and more like brinkmanship. Trade wars tend to hurt ordinary people on both sides more than they help anyone

That’s a really disturbing set of questions, and I don’t think you’re wrong to be concerned. If people are being detained or disappearing from public view, there should be transparent reporting and accountability.

That really captures how a lot of people are feeling right now — fear, frustration, and a sense that ordinary people are paying the price for decisions we didn’t make. It’s hard to stay hopeful when accountability always seems to flow downward instead of upward.
