On the ferry back to England after a successful first field trip for our APEX ‘Bog Biographies’ project. Several coring transects across Borremose completed and three nice sequences sampled for pollen, insect and radiocarbon analyses. Looking forward to getting stuck into the lab work now!

Finally made the move over here after giving up with Twitter (X) quite some time ago. This is much nicer! Looking forward to sharing updates on some exciting new projects soon. For now, here’s a picture of some beautiful sundews in a bog on Arran.
