Had a quick drive down south, a night of sleep, and back to see Storm Large in Santa Monica. I spent many years wishing to see her Holiday Ordeal in Portland, but she's been able to take it on tour for a few years. Her new album "A Joyful Noise" with her band Le Bonheur is great company.

Cozy night with Ben Sollee with a much too tiny crowd, but it's already hard to get out of the house even without a bomb cyclone. There was a break in the rain so I went for it. It's always good to see him; the songs and performances always deliver.

Got to see Kumail last night in a lovely small theater, the San Jose Improv, in stark contrast to the lovely large theaters that he's performing in for most of his upcoming tour. He told highly relatable stories, and it was just good to be having a good time with other people who needed a laugh.
