I was once registered Independent but in 2017 I switched to Democrat because the Republican Party is filled with Trump/MAGA enablers or worse. That said, the Democratic Party needs to wake up and recognize what PEOPLE want and need. Maybe it is time to go back to being Independent.

I agree but that won’t happen. My daughter in law has organized an OK to Delay in her community. Although there is growing support, too many parents think their child’s “safety” requires a phone.

I haven’t voted for any Republican, federal, state or local, since Trump was elected. They could have stopped him and this insanity but chose not to. I will never forget that.

Yes, we are embarrassed and distraught. He insulted many of your countries, and he went over his time limit. No one stopped him. The UN members should have stood up and turned their backs to him. Give us some help here! Seems like everyone is catering to this monster.

Never joined it. Dumped Facebook in 2021, then Instagram. Then all things Prime. It is quite possible to live without any of them. I get my news from reputable fact based independent journalists. And I check anything that seems odd or off.

I don’t have the Disney channel, but I do have young grandchildren. I will not purchase anything that is Disney any more. Bob Eiger- Your acquiescence to Trump’s and Carr’s demands will only bring more demands from them at the expense of your integrity.

Retired math educator here. We spent too much time and money focusing on math and science. Yes, they are important, but we sacrificed teaching civics. We are paying the price.

I am America. A woman, a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother. I believe in America’s promise to “we, the people.” I believe in our Constitution and the hard work to overcome the past failures of our great nation. My heart breaks that this is all coming undone under Trump and the Republicans.

As a white baby boomer, I really don’t like being characterized that way. We aren’t all Trump supporters. All of my friends are vehemently opposed to MAGA. It could be that I have always had good instincts in my choice of friends.

For decades we have focused too much on math and science in schools to the neglect of civics and civic responsibility. I say that as a retired math educator. Too little balance.
