Waiter, there are furries in my bubbel! And a big gnarly striped hyena too! God, there's also a weirdo with a camera on his eyes! Oh wait, that's me.

If you see this, post your bird art!

Some works that my mother made in the 1970s and 1980s.

This reminded me when my dad brought home a Toshiba laptop. My mother saw the little mouse on the keyboard and said:"That looks like a clitoris".My dad had a annoyed/outraged reaction and I was just confused (at 12 I probably still didn't know what a clit was).Yeah, my mother didn't throw any punches

New arrival! A working Olympus mju zoom 140 compact point and shoot 35mm camera.

My mother years ago saw a similar model and said about the zoom lens: "It looks like a dick."

Despite her timid appearance, my mother was very blunt.

My maternal great-grandmother, Emilia Garzoni, daughter of Rosa Aboaf, a Sephardic Jew. According to this lineage, I'm a Jew.

Emilia was an exuberant woman who sang opera arias and traditional Venetian songs like: "Risi e bisi con la lugànega, marita dàmela, te la darò"

I found this little one in Sardinia where I was working as a photograph: the macro mode of my smartphone didn't do justice to the cutest insect I ever saw 🤍

I sent some of my dad's books to a colleague who lives near Naples. They arrived after a troubled journey.Today I got this package with the same waybill of the one I sent the books in.It contains babywipes. Maybe my dad wants to tell me from beyond the Doorless Step that Not Nut November is bullshit?

"Smoke" it to the butt!

You've reminded of "In this corner of the world" by Fumiyo Kōno.

I've just finished watching "All Dogs Go To Heaven" with my girlfriend. It wasn't my first time watching it but I have never bawled my eyes out so hard like today.

This beautiful request that @serenacypb.bsky.social drew for me some time ago is a great "antidote" 🤍

That's really cool to know!

I still have this "parchment" that my dad made when he used to play with me when I was 5: he crumpled a sheet of paper up and dyed it with a teabag, then he wrote the first chapter of the Daodejing on it.

I wish I could have showed him your works, they're really neat.

Also also, new kink unlocked: "acupunture".

(Did I say that out loud? I'm really hopeless)

My Vinted feed has been suspiciously anthro lately.

Also, Tony Wolf (real name: Antonio Lupatelli) was even more awesome than I remembered 🤍

Betweem a Tibetan engraving and a tapestry featuring Krishna and his gopis, my mother's Trigatto arrived safe and sound in Piedmont.

"Linus", probably Italy's most important comic magazine, used generative AI for this month's cover. It is truly disheartening, I had discovered this magazine back in 1995 when I was 7 and a new world opened to me: but "Linus" was much more than a simple comic magazine.

These are some of the pictures that I took this Summer while working as a photographer in Sardinia. I feel that I'm improving a lot, both photography-wise and in creating an actual bond with the people I'm photographing despite my social anxiety.

Mea culpa: I must have had a "lapsus mentis" and got Fenollosa confused with Noel Stock, who was the one who actually co-edited a book of love poems from Ancient Egypt with Pound. Fenollosa was actually an Orientalist. These are books that I once owned: my father was a sinologist.
