I need suggestions. My husband and I were general contractors building this house. I think my idea brain finally ran out. I don’t like the color of the front door. I want to paint it Barn Red. I think the front needs shutters, but I don’t want red shutters …1/2

I am your neighbor in northern Alabama. We got approximately 3-1/2 to 4 inches, but by early afternoon we had rain/sleet which has melted it down a bit.

This is the view from the new house we just spent a year building (my husband and I were general contractors) and just moved in to 5 days before Christmas. I purposely left the snowman decoration up knowing there was a possibility that we were going to get snow in northern Alabama. ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

My husband and I put on general contractor hats about two years ago to build our dream retirement home. The house three doors down had burned down and we loved our neighborhood and it had a pool on the lot, so we bought the lot. We worked for months with an architect to get the floor plan correct.👇🏻
