Preparing a lecture on subjective expectations for the Econometric Society summer school in Dynamic Structural Econometrics, and I found a Wolpin paper from 1985 (!) on the use of expectation data to estimate choice models.

Last work trip of the year: Bocconi’s LEAP Christmas meeting in beautiful Milan’s Villa Invernizzi (yes, those are flamingos by the fountain!)

Second-to-last trip of this long but exciting semester: beautiful Oslo! Thank you @mr-ed.bsky.social for the invitation to a wonderful workshop on the economics of education. Fantastic research, stimulating and fun interactions, and a wonderful sunrise over the city. What more could one ask for?
