Tariffs on raw materials
are beyond idiotic. You make all the domestically manufactured products which use them more expensive.

I like it when they show their true colors. This can only strengthen the Liberal majority in the polls.

YES! The Carney effect.

Je trouve ça excellent qu’ils montrent leur vrai visage.

They are living on another planet. According to Nate Silver his approval rate in the US is currently about 10% less…

Some seem to believe that the monarchy is somehow useful. It can be in extreme cases I suppose, but like most Canadians I would prefer to abolish it in Canada.

Interesting…

This looks more symbolic than anything else, but we will nevertheless remember who our friends are when this madness ends.

La « hausse » est non significative en raison des marges d’erreur… mais bon il faut espérer!

J’espère que tu as raison…

He also seems to forget that this bridge is bidirectional and that we are your (or one of your) best export client.
February 11, 2026 at 7:18 PM
Indeed. It takes time however. Infrastructures are insufficient to start with.

Unbelievable…

This number is still enormous and losing this would cause great harm.

It was anything but minor in Quebec after the PQ got elected in 1976, at least from a Montréal perspective…

I strongly agree with most of this. I wonder however if the statement that they would suffer more than us is accurate.
February 11, 2026 at 5:02 PM

We are in the dark ages compared to Europe in that regard.
February 11, 2026 at 4:37 PM
I would never go back to gazoline cars. EVS are superior in almost every respect in most circumstances.
February 11, 2026 at 4:36 PM
I pray she survives. This is beyond heartbreaking.
February 11, 2026 at 4:33 PM
False. You can pay people to get them. 😜

Smith is obviously not the best example of the usefulness of more consultation, nor is Legault in my own province. Then again, consulting does not mean that you are bound to follow suggestions… the only real downside is that it would make the process even longer, and it already takes too long.
