Welcome to Pine Hill High is progressing more slowly than book 1. Winter = #pain. I must type slowly, carefully, and only a little a day so I can still work.

I have some time off in a few weeks, though, and hope I can get a solid chunk done then.

branches and leaves and little white balloon-shaped flowers, and a single vibrant red fruit on the right Arbutus Marina/Marina strawberry tree with fruits ranging from pale gold to rich vibrant red in color. the fruits do not taste like strawberry for all that they are a similar size and shape. they are not as sweet nor as harsh.

Today is my non-vegan day and apparently I'm going all in to cheer myself up.

Half croissant, cooked spinach, egg (my yolk popped 😭), burrata, tomato, veg bacon, & basalmic. I don't like a lot of fake meat things, but I like the morningstar bacon as my salt and crunch on a breakfast sandwich :9

I also learned some other things that year. Like how kissing—despite what every book, movie, and song promises—is gross. Like… really gross. Just don’t do it.
