The Struggle for Mother Water
The Issue with Tissue - a boreal love story
@ClimateReality Leader & Mentor
Lover/Defender of Mother Earth

Yesterday "The Issue with Tissue - a boreal love story" screened at the Centre d'exposition de Val-David which is in the Laurentians where I began my love affair with forests & trees. To return to the Laurentians for the screening of my documentary about the boreal forest was an honor and privilege.

Grateful for the opportunity to join dear friend and protector of Mother Earth, Ewi Lamma and African Voices for Africa's Forests this Sunday for a discussion about water conservation efforts being engaged on a local community level.

This is the emergency we're dealing with in the #USA. A malignant narcissistic wannabe dictator named #DonaldTrump has subverted our country's constitutional order. He is a traitor. He has committed treason.

He must be removed from our body politic asap.

The Uru Uru Team: A group of inspiring women who are fighting to rehabilitate this #RAMSAR site - a horribly contaminated remnant of a severely depleted Lago Uru Uru near Oruro in #Bolivia

They're among the group of impassioned women in our #documentary - The Struggle for Mother Water

#PresidentMusk #DonaldTrump and their oligarch cohort must be purged from the body politic of Planet Earth. The sooner the better for all the rest of us. Their selfish, narcissistic way of being is destroying everything we cherish. A free press, a democracy determined by the people, all the people.

What a revelation learning what was shared with me during my travels around the globe, gathering stories about water & women on the frontlines fighting to protect it. It's an existential struggle for their children. Grateful to those courageous women who opened their hearts and shared their stories

Even lacking access to clean, safe water, these children in #Rwanda shared a moment of delightful laughter with me during my travels around the world, as we gathered stories from the frontlines of the #water crisis.

One of the many brilliant women water defenders we met during our travels around the globe, uplifting the voices of those on the frontlines of the water crisis.

This is a woman from a remote community in #India in the state of #Gujarat.
