He/They weirdo and unintelligible rambler about many things
Changes and Goodbye to Romance are probably the one’s I’ve been spinning the most since I heard the news today, probably my favorite slower tracks from Sabbath/Ozzy. Dude really did leave us with decades upon decades of great music though, RIP

After being starved of anything really with the character outside of the comics for a while, I’m just so glad that we’re now getting arguably the best Superman content we’ve ever gotten. Just saying, it really does feel good to be a Supes fan now more than ever.

“I wasn’t representing anyone except for me and doing good” - think that was the exact moment in the trailer where I saw that Gunn, Corenswet and co. have such an amazing understanding of who Superman is and it’s just incredible to see

It’s not just Variety either, it seems like any time there’s a new movie out (especially if it’s something not from an established IP like Sinners) that has even a moderately successful opening there’s like 20+ headlines like this now. Such an annoying trend I’m glad more people are calling out

Kinda shocked it actually went to Flow tbh since everyone was expecting The Wild Robot but honestly super based win. I have a feeling some will be upset the latter didn’t win but it’s just so cool to see something independently made from a small Latvian team win, and it’s just so excellent overall

Honestly feels more akin to character designs in recent Disney animated movies to me. Still don’t know how I feel about that since the whole appeal of Shrek in the first place is that it DIDN’T look like Disney, but everyone saying it looks like Ugly Sonic really needs to get their eyes checked IMO

Not too surprised since Odysseus is a bit of an older guy in the original myth and Matt Damon does fit the role more age wise, still hope Tom Holland has a great role in this though since he really does need a knockout non Spider-Man role now more than ever

“Without Batman, crime has no punchline” is super iconic for a reason, legit one of my all time favorite Joker moments in any media really

So awesome to see Lady Gaga go back to making late 2000’s/early 2010’s style art pop bangers while still feeling super new and unique when it comes to her, I love it

If saying “fuck Nazi’s” is going to become something that will get you fired from your job, then yeah… I’m really not looking to seeing fascism and shit get normalized in the next couple years. Just fucking sucks that’s where this country is probably headed

I think watching the bonus features on one of the DVD’s that had the shorts compiled together were one of the first things that really got me interested in the filmmaking process as a kid. I still have a deep fondness for stop motion in general, and all of that came from watching Wallace and Gromit.

Even more reason to hope that Superman ends up being really great next summer to wash the shitty taste of these movies out of our mouths (Fantastic Four also, but I’m a little cautious about that one tbh)

Kinda show how many of these corporations were never really that “progressive” to begin with if they are willing to cater to conservatives at the drop of a hat. It honestly feels like we’re kinda going backwards to Reagan era shit and I’m really not looking forward to the never four years either

That a lot of people are saying it’s another one of those movies that’s a LOT better than most of the marketing/pre-release stuff would leave you to believe definitely gives me some hope. Still have my reservations about how gray and drab the whole thing seems to look though
