during the reconstruction, several local stations were rebuilt and brighton express service was suspended. as a result, they decided to make a few new programs for this service change despite there being no new tech trains running on the B at the time.

It is the Manhattan section actually! Today they’re terminating at 149 GC on the middle track instead of 125.
Also this is the most 142/A’s I’ve seen on the 6 in a LONG time, I’m pretty sure more than half are new techs (only on the 149 - Brooklyn Bridge side though).
