There's a nasty virus going around. It starts as a simple head cold, hangs on & then settles into the chest. I know 4 people who either were sick, or are still sick. It lasts for weeks. In two of my friends, it went in to pneumonia. One is now hospitalized. Mask up when around lots of people!!!!

History shows that countries go through difficult, messy periods, and people of faith often find strength in hope, compassion, and responsibility rather than fear and fatalism. I’d rather focus on what we can do to make things better than conclude that destruction is inevitable.

Thanks for sharing that. I get why people might feel that way, especially with everything going on. For me, though, I think it’s important not to assume that we’re abandoned or doomed.
