About 1/3 of non-academics who hear I’m getting a PhD in political philosophy don’t care, another 1/3 think I’m an august sage, and the final 1/3 treat every conversation with me like a boss battle. It’s really fun to pull that lever every time I meet someone new

I "graduated" from Accutane today, but because I am 30 years old (unlike most Accutane patients), the dermatology nurse gave me the option of not honking the "Accutane horn." I am perhaps too dignified; though my heart yearned to, I did not honk
