I'm not on the Infinite team and am not privy to their future plans, so I don't know what the chances are. I will say that from my seat playable Elites in Infinite has always seemed to be a rather heavy lift in terms of dev cost.

I believe the way we are managing tags in Forge prevents us from changing dynamic object collision on the fly; that data is determined at the start of a game. At least, that's how I remember it...it's been awhile since I thought about that system.

You can turn off collision for static objects in the object settings, but scripting object references require objects to be dynamic and dynamic objects, IIRC, cannot have their collision turned off.

This is a new setting that allows objects to be set to zero gravity independent of the gravity setting on the map/mode.
