today I’d like to share my designed #StarTrek movie poster for the classic film The Search for Spock.
A piece of nostalgia – for all who love Captain Kirk, Spock, and their adventures.

Surrounding him are key characters: Spock’s father Sarek with a dignified, stern expression; Kirk’s blond son David in uniform; and the dark-haired Vulcan Saavik with a focused look. For this poster of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, I wanted to capture the film’s epic yet nostalgic atmosphere. At the center are the iconic characters – Kirk, Spock, Ilia, McCoy, and Decker – set against a glowing galaxy filled with color, light flares, and stardust. The Enterprise sails through space, while in the background, the bridge crew appears – a small storytelling detail that adds depth and dimension. At the top, the poster features the iconic quote: “The human adventure is just beginning.” I designed the piece in the style of classic fan art, with a retro touch and cinematic color dynamics. It’s my take – a tribute to a film that was ahead of its time both visually and thematically.

Not my best work, and not my favorite episode either.
If I had seen this back in 1969, I would’ve been disappointed.
Luckily, I was born later – and got to enjoy many more Star Trek adventures. 🖖🏻

The second season has flown by… and so we’re diving straight into the third and final season of the Star Trek Original Series.
As a young boy, I thought this episode was amazing — and the older I got, the more I came to share the opinion of so many other fans. 🖖🏻

The #StarTrek episode remains one of my favorites. I would have loved to see it turned into its own #series within the #TrekUniverse.

As a child, this episode wasn’t among my favorites – probably because it was hard to imagine back then just how intelligent computers could become.
But the older I get, the more I appreciate it…
