We grow up with the unacceptable, and accommodation becomes a tool we use to make our lives easier. Accommodating the unacceptable is often easier than doing the right thing. Eventually, we use it to let ourselves off the hook, because that’s easier, too.

BREAKING: We're suing to stop the Trump administration’s attempt to massively expand fast-tracked deportations without due process.

This policy was illegal when Trump enacted it in his first term and it’s illegal now.

The "he's not gonna listen to her" reactions are missing many points. Lots of other people are also hearing it. Lots of people can see him hearing it, then weigh what she's said with what he'll do. Lots of people can see her refusal to surrender these ancient teachings to the latest face of empire
