Yet another bizarre trait Max has: he loves to hang out with pineapples. Just to have one nearby to vibe with. He gets very excited when he sees one, and he gets upset when you take it away.

Gotta love redfish sauce picante.

We had lunch at the restaurant yesterday to try out the new seafood dishes and some drinks. It was all delish.
The Smoked Shrimp Dip from the restaurant Grady V's. There's a rounded scoop of the shrimp dip in the center of the plate, garnished with paprika and green onion. Several slices of buttered and grilled panini bread surround the dip. The dish is served on a large white square plate. An Old Fashioned in a large rocks glass. The drink is a deep orange-brown with lots of ice. Garnished with orange peel & a Maraschino cherry. The drink sits on a white cocktail napkin on a glossy woodgrain bar top. Shrimp, Andouille, & Tomato Pasta from the restaurant Grady V's. Bowtie pasta with sauteed shrimp, andouille and a tomato cream sauce. The dish is garnished with grated asiago cheese, green onion, and grilled panini bread. The pasta is served in a large white round bowl. The cocktail of the month at the restaurant Grady V's, the Gator Bite. The drink is made with apple vodka, Midori, fresh lemon, and sour mix. It's very green. Served in a tall rocks glass with lots of ice and a lemon wheel garnish.

When Norby got up and Max didn't move at all, I just had to real quick check that he hadn't been smothered
