The simple fact is they do not believe Healthcare is a basic right of an advanced society. The hard part is when the cost of the Healthcare is born by society even if the person being treated is not cooperating financially or by actions. Classic example is smoking and the resulting health issues.

Shooting arrows at ideas is easy. Developing solutions is a lot harder.
