I used to think Charlie Brown was Jewish because of his irrepressible optimism in the face of Great Pumpkin denialism and his obstinate insistence that baseball games be played, rain storms be damned!

I assume you mean being pro-Israel. So am I. I don’t think being pro-Israel and being a leftist are mutually exclusive! In fact, I’d call myself woke but that feels presumptuous, so let’s say I aspire to be woke. I oppose Likud and still mourn Rabin, and support a 2-state solution.

Sadly, you only get noticed when you throw hard, so you don’t get longevity without high velocity!
