@crypticaetc.bsky.social the white octagon. The 🛑 is complexity and ⚪️ white is plain, routine. What are the complex routines you’ve woven through your life? What do they mean? How are they serving you? Perhaps you can be more deliberate in your routines to simplify or reevaluate?

For myself (I’m always my own biggest supporter) The Bat. It’s about taking a swing. Looking to the future. Trying something out, even if you might miss. Will this be the only card I draw on this thread? Quite possibly, but we’re going to try anyway.

Lies, I have one more. Last one is Monikers. It’s a party game for big groups. (Retail version of the parlor game “3 round charades” or “Celebrity”) The cards are a silly good time.

And lastly, Ready, Set, Bet! is a rowdy game where people place bets in real time as they watch someone rolling dice to race the horses around the track. (Or you can have the app race the horses so everyone can bet.) and it can play up to 9 players. 🎉

Arcs is a 2-4 player big space strategy game. (A bit more complex than Catan) It’s one of the board game world’s big hot games right now. And the art is so stinking cute.

Scout and Startups are both amazing 20 minute accessible family style card games that have some great strategy without being too complicated. Up 5 and 7 players too.

LOTR duel is a reimplementation of one of my all time favorites, seven wonders duel, and maybe does it even better. Great 2 player game. Sky team is a killer 2 player game as well.
