Short consist. Pretty much all the weekend Ballarats are scheduled as 6 cars.

Short consist. Pretty much all the weekend Ballarats are scheduled as 6 cars.
How I would love to see it duplicated again! It’s all those heritage-listed stone over-bridges in the way. There’s not enough space for double-track running at 160km/h through them. I wonder if double-track with 80km/h would be allowed, though that would add at least 10 minutes to the journey.
