🚨 Last year, over a quarter of EU consumers bought products from outside the EU. Consumers shopping online are 60% more likely to experience problems than those shopping offline.

Had an inspiring #YouthPolicyDialogue in Dublin! 🎉 30 young people shared feedback on boosting youth participation in democracy.

As Commissioner for Democracy, I’m committed to ensuring their voices are heard as we work on initiatives like the European Democracy Shield.

The Rule of Law & 🇪🇺 values are two sides of the same coin; there is no freedom or democracy without the Rule of Law.

Attended the General Affairs Council today to discuss this topic & exchanged with Thomas Byrne, 🇮🇪 Minister for EU Affairs, on support for Ukraine and strengthening our democracies.

This means that many citizens who are in a position to do so are good at saving, yet are getting little in return.
