Liam Rosenior must’ve thought it was a league game and been happy to take a point with the lack of attacking they did 🤣 don’t think I’ve been less stressed in a cup semi final

Can’t wait for all the criticism to come our way, and all the praise to go to Chelsea…. Even though we are still winning
February 3, 2026 at 8:50 PM
And yet……. I still worry 😅

Completely agree. Winning the carabao is, in my opinion, critical in terms of the squad development. It will give them the tangible proof they need, even if it’s only a small trophy, to go and get the bigger ones. Plus beating Chelsea and Newcastle/city will prove they can beat good teams to titles

Badly morning gents! Our attacking performances are poor at the moment. Do you think we should be rotating our attacking options more to rest them and hope they comeback to form? Or play the same attack for a while and hope they play into form? #arsecastextra @gunnerblog.bsky.social @arseblog.com

I think he works in some games. But a low block Dyche-led forest team away from home is not his strong suit
January 18, 2026 at 7:01 PM
Mad typo there 🤣 should read “what happened at Bournemouth”
January 18, 2026 at 10:53 AM
I think arteta wanted the same thing as what happened at happened. But this time it backfired. Seemed a risk though she forest had the week to prepare. Saka should have started today and rest on Wednesday. Today was more important to win
January 17, 2026 at 9:59 PM
We had madueke to do that and he did….. nothing
January 17, 2026 at 8:26 PM
For me it’s that the last 2 league games have felt like big opportunities to put down the marker to rest of the league and say “this is ours” and knock teams out of the chase. Beating the champions at home and against forest today after city’s defeat could have massively hurt them psychologically

There was a great moment about midway through where timber had space to run into and drive up the pitch. Ideal scenario for Gyok to run in behind but he just jogged along with the cbs. That’s worrying to me

Sorry sorry to hear of this. How pathetic that people think this is an okay thing to do to someone who’s literally just doing their job.

Ignoring all of the idiots I hope you’ve had a wonderful holiday season and have a happy new year!

I think norgaard for zubimendi has to be considered early too. Or drop rice to cdm and bring on odegaard. But that feels too risky for me

In only 2 and a bit seasons as well, that is wild. In the next 12 months he could easily get to 2nd in the list!
November 4, 2025 at 1:50 PM
Would be amazing and hilarious. Though given he’s had the second most shots of the squad (and I think 3rd in xG) and only has 1 goal, maybe he’s better staying at left back for now 😉

Why do you think the media narrative focuses on our set pieces, rather than the fact we have a squad full of England stars (current and future), with 4 trained wholly by the club, all playing at an extremely high level? Something no other big 6 team does @gunnerblog.bsky.social #arsecastextra

Assuming this is league games only, making it the Liverpool away last season one?
If all competitions then PSG semi final and CC 2nd leg spring to mind also

At this point in the season who is your:
1) best player of the season
2) best of the 8 new signings so far
3) Goal of the season

For me it’s:
Timber
Zubimendi
Gyokeres v Forest (Eze’s first assist)

Also interesting on how these extra seats get allocated. How many will season ticket waiting list get? How many will go into the silver and red ballots, and how many will be premium hospitality seats to charge £1000s per game. My guess is a little of the former and a lot of the latter 🤔

I think he’s realised two things.
1) PL defenders are much stronger than those in Portugal, so probably needs extra gym sessions
2) PL Refs are more lenient than in Portugal

His touch needs to improve too which it should do in training. Rice has improved a lot in this area since joining

Think it helps having a bench that can actually change things when losing in that regard so hopefully improves moving forward
September 29, 2025 at 2:23 PM
Totally agree. As examples, Kane left because he hadn’t won anything. Trent left because he won everything. Winning trophies is no guarantee of keeping players. It’s the same as any job. People stay/leave based on a number of different factors. I think players just want to compete against the best
September 25, 2025 at 3:05 PM
I think that could be said for a few of the guys out there today. Very sloppy performance particularly the first half.
On Gyokeres though, it’s fair to say that if havertz was fit, I don’t think he’d be starting this game. Though it’s worrying how little impact he’s had in the big games so far
September 21, 2025 at 10:38 PM
That Eze assist for Gyokeres’ goal reminded me of Ozil’s assist in his first game for Giroud
