I came to the to the sport with the turbo-hybrids so they are the sound I associate with F1. I sometimes think people overrate how important the noise is coming from the cars.

I, like you, have been a lifelong fan beginning next season. Never mind that I've only been watching since the Vandoorne era at McLaren.

We have this in the US when drafting new players each year, teams tank at the end of the year to improve their position in the following years player draft. Not ideal for those particular fanbases.

My daughter had her 3 year wellness visit with the pediatrician this week and I had to have a conversation with the doc about if we should think about getting any of her shots earlier than normal. 🤦‍♂️
