“Landslide Lake on Vancouver Island. In 1946, an earthquake sheared a massive slab of Mt. Colonel Foster and caused a slide that went crashing down the valley and through the lake. The lake earned its name and the scars of the landslide can still be seen on the mountain and on the side of the lake.”

Here's my LEGO NASA Artemis Space Launch System build in a display case by Wicked Brick (wickedbrick.com).
I added a string of RGB strip lights wrapped around the display case's "launch position" stand and then layered some fluffy cotton-like fill material, to simulate lift off.

Artemis SLS finished. Very cool build. Rocket sits on launchpad in launch prep configuration, retractable stabilizer arms and crew loading arm, removeable crew capsule (shown on small stand), etc.

I just finished the audiobook version of Service Model by @aptshadow.bsky.social I loved it. The British/absurdist humor, sly social commentary, and great narration by the author. Highly recommended.
